Meet our Team of Trained Specialists
Erin Silva is a specialist in treating problematic sexual behaviors as well as it’s related issues including depression, anxiety, and trauma. She also treats family members and spouses who have been affected by addiction and are struggling to understand the implications for their lives. Erin is trained as a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist-Candidate and has worked with many couples to help them overcome the disconnection that often results from pornography/sex problems. To further her work with couples in distress she has also been trained in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), the only research verified couples counseling model. Erin has experience in individual and group therapy with adolescents, adults, couples and families.
Erin is available for workshops and presentations on a variety of mental health issues and loves educating people about healthy living and healthy connection. She has a great passion for the work she does, and loves seeing individuals and families recover their hope for living happier and healthier lives. Erin graduated with her Master's degree from Arizona State University and her Bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University. She has been working as a professional therapist for the past seven years and loves helping people find a greater sense of peace and happiness in daily life. Erin and her husband have recently moved to the Tri-Cities area with their one year old son. Erin is a native of the area and they are very much enjoying being surrounded by family and friends and the feeling of “coming back home”. |
Dan Garner knows by personal experience the pain and damage that problematic sexual behaviors (PSB) create in a persons life and relationships. He has been dealing with these issues both professionally and professionally for over a decade and is excited to be offering his help and experience here in Tri-Cities, Washington. Dealing with problematic sexual behavior is a difficult and complicated struggle that requires expert understanding and help. Beyond the person struggling, there are also spouses, children and other loved ones in need of help and support. As a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist-Candidate and EMDR Provider, Dan is prepared to help anyone affected by problematic sexual behavior in whatever situation.
Dan has also worked with teens, adults and couples struggling with depression, anxiety and trauma and teaches parenting and relationship skills. One of his most rewarding experiences was working at a therapeutic horse ranch for teenage boys dealing with trauma and behavior issues. Dan makes himself available to give presentations, seminars and consultations to LDS Stake and Ward leaders as well as other religious, clinical and academic organizations. As a Columbia Basin native Dan is excited to have returned home to provide help and support in this area. He enjoys spending time with his wife and new baby girl as well as exploring the Tri-Cities area, hiking, playing racquetball, cooking, reading and learning new skills and hobbies from anyone that will teach him. |
